This Sunday at Hannaford, Ray Fuller spoke on the return of Jesus and our personal holiness. He mentioned one of those "Five Words of Worship:" MARANATHA. It is an Aramaic phrase meaning "Our Lord come!" that only occurs once in the New Testament, but was commonly used by the early church.Truly, we do long for the Lord to come - and He is coming any moment. We need to live our lives in Christ with a sense of urgency. This is not only for ourselves and our personal holiness (which comes from God, not ourselves), but also for the sake of those who do not yet know Christ. Let us live our lives not only proclaiming the kingdom of God, but also doing our part in ushering in the kingdom..."The kingdom of God has come near to you!"
