Worship Driven...

We're pretty excited. We're going to the Purpose Driven Worship Conference & Festival at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif.

For starters, Saddleback is one of the "big" churches I've never been to (along with Willow Creek). I've learned so much visiting some of the breakout churches in Christendom (Mosaic, Christian Assembly, Angelus Temple, Crossroads Christian, Mariners, etc.), Saddleback will definitely be an experience.

Second, There will be some first rate speakers and worship leaders at the conference including Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, Tim Hughes, John Ortberg, Rick Warren, Rick Muchow, Bart Millard, Tommy Walker.

Next, it's four days! We have almost a week to absorb this stuff. We're looking forward to being in SoCal for a week soaking in the warm weather, good food, and familiar sites. The conference starts at the end of June and we'll probably stay until July 4th (It's becoming a tradition to be in California to celebrate Independence Day).

Well, we just wanted to share our excitement...

**UPDATE: Here are all the other items posted later regarding the conference**

Church Shopping

I have been known to watch the television show King of the Hill from time to time. It's pretty clean and it makes me laugh. Sometimes the things that relate to our own lives and have a bit of truth in them are the things that make us laugh the most. Check out this clip from www.youtube.com when the Hill family goes church shopping:

We're Superstars!

Yep, that's right. We made the local NBC news last night for our involvement in a National Day of Prayer event over at Fort Harrison. Don't blink, you might miss us. For those of you back in SoCal, it's a little bit easier to make the news here.

Not only did we make TV we also got to meet John Bohlinger, the Montana Lt. Governor (and his big poodle, Sophie). Wow! It's just a little too much for one day. But don't worry, we won't forget all the little people that helped us become superstars! Bye for now...
